Three things

Three things that have happened to me recently:

* Failed the JLPT level 1. This was fully expected as it was above my level and I didn't have time to prepare; I only took it just to see how I would fare. Passed two out of three modules though, which was not so expected and therefore makes a fail a kind of victory.

* Turned 30. Dressed up as a pirate. Got a DS and spent 4 days with it glued to my hand as I played Professor Layton essentially non-stop from start to finish :)

* Met someone who is entirely perfect for me in all ways but one, and for that one reason it is for now a secret :)

I'm not so bad... all things considered. Yes, it's been raining for about 2 months now, ha - luckily we're a bit above river-level here so only the nature reserve has flooded (so far!)
Facebook? I just signed up! And I've done precisely nothing with it :)
